Again thanks for the advice. I copied 7 of the 11 clips on to my internal drive and made them offline in FCP and then reconnected them on the internal drive and it’s working fine now.

So are you saying that there’s nothing I can really do with it being on one external hard drive? That would suck…

I’m not using a raid. I’m using a Fantom external firewire hard drive and using the firewire 800 port and cable.
