Is there a way to do this with a script?

Update,
I emailed support and this is what they said –
“There is a known problem in After Effects CC 2015 (13.5), but only on Mac
OS X, where the Hand tool does not work in the Timeline panel but only
when you are using multiple monitors, the Timeline panel is on the
secondary monitor, and the secondary monitor is positioned to the left of
the primary monitor.”I am on Windows 7 with a quadro k5000 card and the problem is exactly as he described. I let them know it’s a windows problem too.

Hey Ryan,
Thanks, Yep, I went ahead and installed the latest firmware but ML didn’t support it. However, luckily for me canon’s firmware can be downgraded. I had to downgrade to 2.0.3 and then everything worked.

Yes, depending on what camera, camera settings, footage quality, try to avoid motion blur, green screen or not, etc… Getting a 3d camera track can turn out not so good or it can be straight forward.
In which case using a few tracking marks in the scene can improve a track. However you will have to them remove them in post.I found this clip on youtube that kind of demonstrates that.

I am actually tracking a scene in boujou right now and I am running into issues with depth of field. The program has a problem getting great tracks with blurry footage, it turns into a more tedious process.

To add on to what Daniel Waldron said, remember to look into tracking marks for your scene and actor.

January 19, 2015 at 5:39 pm in reply to: Quicktime Animation to H.264 (Driving me crazy)If you have gradients in your animation try adding a bit of noise, maybe 1%, then render it as either animation, apple pro res, avi, any uncompressed codec at 16bit or even 32 bit.
Then use mpeg stream clip or any software you like to compress it down to h264. Be careful with your data rate settings when compressing, try limiting the data rate to something like 5,000kb or 10,000 depending on what file size you want. The smaller the number the crappier the quality.

Hey,
I tried using this script and everything seemed to be animating fine just as long as I kept it at 2px per sec. However i need it to be twice as fast, so I have it set to 4px per sec. The motion it self is consistent however there seems to be some vibration on the edges of the text as it animates.
I figured it was an aliasing issue so I added a .05% directional blur and reduced the white color of the text to 75% (not the opacity, the brightness of the white). My comp settings are:
23.976 FPS
1998×1080
Duration: 0:04:35:00The text layer comp height is 25232px
This credit roll will be played back progressive not interlaced.
I tried to attach my AE project to this post, hopefully it works and you guys can see what I might be doing wrong. This version of my project is a reduced example with all the same settings of the real thing except the text is all dummy text.
The system I am watching it on is a FLAME, with a broadcast monitor.
It is strange that it moves consistently frame by frame yet it has a weird vibration look to it. Any advice would be appreciated!
