Alright thank you very much. I thought I remembered being able to do more but I guess I’m wrong.

    Thanks a lot

  • The original file (.MTS) I was referring to was the file I was working on in After Effects. Not the file I created in a render.

Before you mentioned how you would “make something lossless like a QT in the PNG codec, and then transcode it into AVI.” What’s the best way to go about doing this?

  • Render Settings
    Quality: Best
    Resolution: Full
    Disk Cache: Read Only
    Porxy Use: Use No Proxies
    Effects: Current Settings
    Solo Switches: Current Settings
    Guide Layers: All Off
    Color Depth: Current Settings
Frame Blending: On for Checked Layers
    Fiel Render: off
Motion Blur: On for Checked Layers
    Time Span: Work Area Only

    Use Comp’s frame rate: 29.97

    Format: AVI
In Format Options I selected None for Video Codec
    Channel: RGB
    Depth: Millions of Colors
    Color: Premultiplied (Matted)
    Checked Audio Output
    48 kHz
    16 bit
    Stereo

The original file I was rendering was a .MTS file (AVCHD Video), 1440 by 1080. I really need this format to work because one of my cameras records in this format.

  • Thanks, that’s exactly what I needed!
