Activity Forums Adobe After Effects CS6 Won’t Render AVIs Properly (Includes YouTube Video of Problem)

    Please post your AVI export settings. What is the source footage?

    Use Comp’s frame rate: 29.97

    Format: AVI
    In Format Options I selected None for Video Codec
    Channel: RGB
    Depth: Millions of Colors
    Color: Premultiplied (Matted)
    Checked Audio Output
    48 kHz
    16 bit
    Stereo

    The original file I was rendering was a .MTS file (AVCHD Video), 1440 by 1080. I really need this format to work because one of my cameras records in this format.

    The original file (.MTS) I was referring to was the file I was working on in After Effects. Not the file I created in a render.

    Before you mentioned how you would “make something lossless like a QT in the PNG codec, and then transcode it into AVI.” What’s the best way to go about doing this?
