Hmmm… I didn’t have such a problem, but I did have a problem where I had to call customer service about…

I had an error message – “Project is from a newer version” when I was certain i didn’t open it in CC… and it was still a CS6 project.

they had me uninstall, and reinstall… then…They had me go under the Creative Cloud updater/assets thing, go down to Previous Versions, and find the updates under there for CS6.

which was like – Oh. that’s sorta stupid. When reinstalling, you’d think you’d already have all the updates…

ummm… just sharing my experience with such things… do other projects open?

  • I am pretty new, but I had a problem where I can’t reverse things in Particular, so in my case I exported the video, then I reversed it. I would think for what you have to do,… ummm… maybe make the frame rate really high in the comp, export the video, and then speed up the footage after?

Or otherwise maybe Trapcode Echospace could help? it controls multiple layers and off-sets them. depending on what you are doing, of course,…

If that is a dumb idea, I dunno… i am still new at this stuff…

I am the same way. I want to get more into animation,… and motion graphics.

I had talked to someone else that does animation, I went to his website, and he has a local group on Facebook for animators and asking around with them helped a bit… but mostly they use Photoshop and then After Effects to touch it up for straight out animation.

finding information on what can be incorporated using Cinema 4D lite for motion graphics would be useful! I am not rich so I want to see where this thread goes.

Hello! I had the same problem myself,… even the Mac “Geniuses” didn’t have a clue except to give me the same advice you got.

I don’t know if this helps, but if you go to the Sequence settings of whatever sequence you are working with, in the left side of the window there is something called “Quicktime Video Settings”, where I recommend changing the “Compression”.

I had to change mine to “Animation” and it looked perfect from then on (I was doing animations with these pictures anyway).

I hope you find the right one!
