Hi David,
Many thanks! I will try that now, although, the first time it did this I had not yet installed magic bullet. ( I only put that on yesterday and the second error happened a few hours after)

It’s only done this twice, and there’s been a lot of rendering done between each problem – but it made no sense that I was being prompted to dump files from the render manager when I’ve still got a lot of free disc space.

Hi David,
Thanks for your response! I’ve not added many new fonts (3), the only extra plug in I use within FCP is ‘Magic Bullet Looks’ (something that used to give me some render troubles when I used Adobe Premiere) And I’ve only been using this on a few clips (around 7) that were suffering from a faulty lens adapter on our first day filming, I haven’t been using many transitions or filters, mainly color correction and a 2:35:1 matte.

I’ve not trashed my preferences yet. I’ve been using this machine for a few weeks, but using FCP pretty constantly.
