ah so your scene detection was not working when enabled
because your camera time was not set?

    interesting.

I usually always do batch capturing through logging
the in/out timecodes manually to a batch capture file.

you were able to do that right?

So scott, just to define your core issue, you don’t
get an error message but you can’t capture either?

I’m still not sure what the core problem is that wasn’t
    a problem before.

I hope I never have this issue. But it looks like Edward
    knows what it is.

uninstall or rollback so service pack 2 is gone and service pack 1
    is installed.

I can’t count how many times a micro$oft service pack completed
hexed systems that were otherwise working just fine before.

Since then I don’t upgrade service packs unless absolutely necessary.

Or just download the demo, open the help file, capture some
video and just “go for it” 🙂

Is maximum size per dv clip enabled? I always uncheck that.

So when your trying to capture another clip what happens?

Does it just fail with an error?

What’s the error msg if your getting one?

If you’ve got room to capture video there’s some other setting
that isn’t right. That has to be it IMO.

    What exactly are you saying?

You cannot import more than 1 hour worth of footage
if a captured clip exceeds 1 hour?

    Pioneer 109.

It can burn everything including DVD-R DL.
    It even reads DVD-RAM media.

You’ll probably need to upgrade the firmware though but
    thats easy to do.

supermediastore.com has a sale on them for $ 70 each and you can
get it in black or beige.
