There are lots of places to hike, from the Poli Poli redwood forest to Twin Falls to Haleakala
crater and more. Unfortunately, Jaws (huge surfing waves) does not break in the summer and the whales are gone, but there is plenty to see. Also, there is a great zipline company up on the mountain:

Yep…I would vote for the Canon. I shoot with an XL1s and I live on
Maui. I like the color tones of the Canons over the Sonys, but that’s
a personal choice.

This is the best way to get really clean crisp greenscreen
with DV.

Also, Wax will not work with 6 yet. An upgrade is in the works.

Okay…there are some additions to the transitions and media generator (though not much).

The ability to drop .veg files directly to the timeline is good too. And the faster render times
are nice.

But compared to Final Cut Pro’s CG, Vegas is lacking.

No new transitions…no improvement in CG…If you don’t need HD there’s not much.
