Ah, yes, I see. Interesting idea. I did crop the edges of the stills to make them smaller so they will bounce closer to the edges. Here’s the rub….it’s for a DVD menu – once I make it for action safe, when someone watches it on a computer, then the bounce is no longer decent since there is no action safe….what’s an editor to do?

Me neither. Orlando Luna and Damian Allen both said to export it as a movie and re-import and scale down or create a new project based on action safe frame size and re-import into regular sized project file. It may be a good update request since if we are watching it on a TV, we can’t see the object bounce against the TV screen since it is outside of action safe.

Ditto on the Dell. FOr $500?!? It’s a no brainer.

    RULE #1: Never show a “work-in-progress.”
RULE #2: If you ask for an OPINION from someone they will feel obligated to give you one, even if they don’t really know or care.

I disagree. Work in progress screenings are invaluable. It all depends who you show it do. Of course if it is something under wrap and hush hush, then you only show it to trusted individual. If you have trusted and experienced people to show it do, why not get their opinions along the way.

Rule #2 – ditto as above. Depends on who they are. People you trust and vice versa would not give you opinions just to pad your ego. We’re all professionals and understand that it’s not personal.

    My 2 cents.
