We solved the problem… by taking out the blackmagic card. It was an intensity pro card and we started having these problems as soon as we started using it. Now that we’ve taken it out all of our strange audio problems have melted away. None of these problems were because of incompatible 24fps to 30fps issues- they all seemed to be because of that card.
