Check Kramer’s website. I have a couple Kramer video DA’s they are physically very small with 1 in and 4 out.
I also have some Horita’s with larger outputs 1X6 if I remember correctly. They are half rack units.
I have a couple Ocean Matrix DA’s the audio is rca, is the only thing about them that bothers me.

Hope this gives you some ideas, for small inexpensive units

I didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers with my statement. I will say when speaking of talented eyes. One of the best video engineers I ever worked with (his job was matching cameras for live shoots) was totally color blind. His cameras matched beautifully and the colorimitry was exceptional. He was fantastic with a scope.

  • [Tim Kolb] “You’re considerably more gray than your picture…” At the rate that’s going, Kathlyn and Ron would have to changing my pic once a week.”

Let’s not get into that. I just returned from my 45th High School Class Reunion. As I was going into the building someone was coming out and said you don’t want to go in there, it is full of old people.

[R. Hewitt] “If memory serves me correctly, and as it’s an analogue format, it can’t really be described as either.”

    Exactly!

  • [Ron Lindeboom] “Yep, Charlie still can’t grow a beard, even in his fifties.”

Thanx for the age compliment, Ron. Do I really look like I’m only in my 50’s?

Turned 63 July 22nd. But you are right I tried once to grow a beard. after 2 months went by, I looked like my face was dirty so I gave up.

Franklin, my partner Frank likes having another Frank around, so again welcome.

  • [Tim Kolb] “So much of what we use as evaluation standards against our own work in this industry is based on comparisons to other work that we see as something we can aspire too.”

Good example, off topic a bit but philosophy is the same. As a musician I was playing Trudy Heller’s Versaille in Greenwich Village opposite a New York Band. Alternating every 30 minutes in the evening. I was totally amazed with the guitar player in that group and stood in the doorway of the kitchen and watched every move he made. I was totally mesmerized. One evening he came to me and said, I want you to show me that thing you do in so-and-so song. I love the way you southern boys play guitar, I’ve been watching you every night.
We all seem to be fascinated with other peoples work and consider our own inadequate, so if you are mesmerized with other people, you might just be pretty dang good yourself.
