Well I realized in my above post that I wrote I was exporting at 16 bit, though the .wav was at 32 bit float, so I changed it to 16 and replaced the file in AE, but it did not help. In SoundBooth I exported the mp3 into different formats (.wav and .aif) and at 8bit and 16bit, all at 44.100khz but the problem did not stop. I’m fairly stumped at this point.

Thanks for replying. The audio file was originally an Mp3 at 160kbps, and 44khz. I converted it to a .wav at 32 bit float and 44khz. In AE, I have attempted all kinds of different codecs and containers, and different settings combinations. For example, before writing this reply, I exported my comp as an uncompressed AVI (no video codec, millions of colors (no alpha, 29.97 fps) and I set my audio to compressor: none, rate: 44.100khz, size: 16 bit, use: stereo, and this did not fix my sync issues. Since this comp is only 28 seconds, I’m open to use any codecs/container, hopefully the best quality as possible (Output is for DVD). I am going to try and convert my mp3 using different settings, but any other suggestions you may have I’d appreciate.
    Thanks in advance,
    Charlie
