Thanks for the response, definitely helped me out, I figured out my big problem, I had to turn ‘Continuously Rasterize’ on, the little sun looking button next to ‘shy’ and ‘quality’. That fixed my issue 🙂

thank you sir, thats what I ended up doing, the compound clip method seems to be best, still seems a little backwards but that might just be because I’m still trying to forget everything I used to do in 7 😛

I know its really bad for graphics, which is why I export as animation then re-export as dvcpro50 through mpeg streamclip, that workflow has seemed to work pretty well so far. I work for a church doing tv promo’s and stuff for web, the other editors all work and export their shows in dvcpro50 so I need to match their settings, that’s really the only reason why I have it set up that way.

well, the codec is animation, the sequence settings are set to animation just for export, then I bring it into MPEG Streamclip and export it as DVCPro, etc, helps preserve that sharp looking text. Sorry, I should have been more clear…

ended up not even using her voice, but thanks anyway, one of these days when I have time I’m going to brush up a bit on some basic Soundtrack Pro tuts, because you’re right I must have done something else. Thanks again!

thanks for the response, I was normalizing but the problem that came from that was the “S” ‘s were way too pronounced and would throw the audio into the red. As for the mic, I don’t know much about it, I’ve already talked these people into buying so much stuff, whats a few extra thousand right? 😉

yes it is a monster, I have maximum memory usage set to 150% of 3GB’s
Maximum RAM Cache size 100% = 3GB’s
and maximum disk cache size is 5000 MBwhat I did see improvement on, and this is interesting, is when I did a render without the FX turned on, the buildings problems for the most part went away. The flickering sides that I was dealing with, they’re pretty much gone! so that must have been a memory issue? strange…
