In a test I am noticing a ever so slight, smoother movement in the footage at 30fps-which is how it was originally shot….
    over 60 + 24….
Is that correct or am I just imagining it?

Thank you, so, you would set it at dslr 720p, select 24 or 60 fps and then change it to 30 fps in the general tab? Seems simple enough.
Can you share the impact or concerns around choosing 60 or 24 fps right off in the new sequence tab, just an opportunity to learn from you…?

This is not a canon problem this is a CS5 problem. I f adobe wants to be the premier editing suite then it needs to create a way to bring the video into the software based on modern principle and Firewire is not the answer.

They spend a fortune on Mercury playback engine and leave us with On Location that is remarkable unusable!

  • i am having the same problem. Had it when the files came from after effects as well to a certain extent.

But I created my slides in photoshop, 16 x 19, 300 DPI imported them into premier pro, and then created my show.
Looks great in preview window, once rendered or exported as avi file they look pixelated.

I looked for a way to check “uncompressed” under an avi file, and found only one way that made it a custom files and when I played it back only had audio. (CS4)

If you could try once more in detail to explain how you exported that avi file it might really help,. Thanks!
