Okay this is awful.. I literally have to go to a doctor. I forgot a small detail.

As you can probably see in the screenshot above I had to actually delete the windows the 3d model in AE because the actor was not visible right.

Is there anything I can do in C4D to prevent this without having to delete the windows in AE and then duplicate the car model and adjust the opacity? I`d like to actually keep the windows and just make them more… uhmm idk.. clear I guess.

ALSO, how can I get this more night-ish? The original footage is very well lit and I`d like to get it to the point where people would actually believe it`s night time.

Sorry for replying to this but I dont know how to add the original post. Cant seem to find the right option..

Well the BEAR is fake, that`s what I was saying, I mean the bear probably DOES exist in real life but it was not shot next to the guy in the same shot, that is FOR SURE.

Here`s a picture of after the effect was applied. Sadly I do not have the before anymore, BUT it was basically a normal picture taken with a bridge camera, with no effects added, just a simple picture.

Hopefully this helps in showing what type of effect I want to achieve. What I found so far on YouTube is just basic, weird looking stuff. Not some artwork like this.

What about stills? I understand that if I want video I still need AT LEAST some physical lights to switch on and off, but it require at least 2 people and I don`t have, it would also require to actually have the lights and the impossible, I`d like to have these lights light up in different places, for example the legs, the head, etc and a lot of other problems which sadly I can`t do/afford.

I was thinking about still though. Photoshop can do wonders when it comes to compositing and maybe this could be possible with stills and just post effects. I was thinking about taking pictures with proper lighting in front of my green screen and add artificial lights so they only light one part of the subject and turn the other parts of the picture black, I KNOW for sure there was something in After Effects and even Photoshop that could do that.

After I would light up the subject from one small point, instead of using “christmas lights” I could just draw the lyrics on a background wall and blend it so it looks like it was actually written in real life.

I would rather do stills than video since my camera is a bridge made for pictures not for videos. What do you think?

Thank you! I`ve worked with Cinema4D before, but it was only experimental, forgot everything about it, but it`s never too late to learn how to use it again. It would be great to model a piano and use it in a picture with the Parallax effect.

There`s also the background which I have to take care of and maybe some fake lights positioned inside the picture to make it even more like a video. I`ll be taking some pictures next to a green screen in the upcoming days and give it a try, like a test for about 10-15 seconds and see what I can create.

    Thanks again!

Sorry for posting again, but I don`t see the option to edit my post and I forgot to tell you I don`t have an iPhone, just a budget phone with a 5mpx camera that shoots 1080p but does so at an incredibly low quality, and to be honest the bridge shoots WAY better in 720p than the phone does, so my only option is still the Parallax effect and the only way to keep the viewers would be to change the camera angle all the time and zoom in and out and as I said add the fire effect and maybe something else to make it more interactive.

If you guys have any idea, it would greatly help me.

Hope Soundcloud is allowed here. That`s the only place I can upload wav. It`s just the song so you get an idea, this should be the prechorus and chorus, the main vocals are not there because I`m still processing them, but there`s still my backing choir at the chorus so you can get an idea of what it should be like, kind of.

I was thinking about bringing the piano in flames, and the flames could start really small and extend as the song goes on, but me, I wouldn`t be on fire, I would be somehow protected you know? Like some kind of “emotional” shield, or if that would be too hard to do, be on fire like the piano but I would not feel the burn, I would just keep singing and I would slowly burn until the fire is everywhere and somehow stop the video there.

That was indeed very helpful people. Thank you so much. I actually managed to get something very similar to that video thanks to you.

I`ve got an insanely powerful machine to process all this, but after reading a couple of times what you answered me I realize with every read that even with such a powerful machine the skills of the creator is everything.

Also, I realize that what I asked here is a lot of different things covering different topics of After Effects, that`s why I was asking for some videos/courses inclined specifically to making music videos so I could learn.

As for the piano, it doesn`t exist at all, so I`m not really trying to replace it, I`m trying to “create” it. I`ve worked with green screen before, I know all about keylight, it`s just the piano, shadows, reflections, lightning and everything else that scares me, because really, I`m not trying to work a month on a 3 minutes video.

Thanks for your reply though! I guess I gotta find some videos or courses about music videos, if they even exist.
