I got it figured out. It seems that each time I stopped the GoPro, it re-started with a new 1000’s (i.e.: jumped from 4,000 to 5,000) and Premiere Pro only batches each set within the same sequence and stops when there’s a jump. Thus, I did an individual import for each section and it worked fine.

I have done several imports of GoPro footage (stills) using the checked “Image Sequence” box to create time lapse footage, but now I’m have a problem with the one I’m currently trying to do. It is just over 3000 images and the GoPro named them sequentially, though it chose random numbers, often jumping a few hundred then continuing on. Obviously renaming 3000 files seems daunting, so I’m wondering if anyone can shed some light on my problem. When I do the import I get only the first frame (:03 secs) and nothing I do rectifies this. It’s totally bizarre, considering I’ve done this at least 50 times before with no problem.
Suggestions?
