i am extremely new to the film making scene so exuse any ignorance that i might display, but i have been doing alot of research on the A1u and i have heard this same story from alot of people about the low light capability. My question is how bad? cause right now i record with a $300 dollar JVC hard drive camera so you have to understand that just about anything would be better than what im use to. I would like to in at least video a candle lit room?? I asume that the a1u would not be the camera for that? If not what about the VX2100 (3CCD) would this be a camera that could video in candle lit room? I hate sacrifising HD for SD but i would if the low light is that bad. could you please help direct me?
P.S. my price range is in the GL-2 A1u range.
