Why would you be trying to work in such high color settings in AE, when your footage is (correct me if I’m wrong) no greater than 8-bit? Does the 7D shoot in something greater than that?

32-bit color space is even more extreme than what I would normally use when rendering broadcast-ready HD 3D animations. The files are huge, and they slow AE down.

If you were going to be introducing substantial effects over your footage, then perhaps I could see the need for the additional color space headroom. But, again, what is the bit depth that you’re getting out of the 7D?

That package (as well as the TNT one) was created by TROIKA. You’re not likely to get them to divulge too many secrets, but you can always try.

They mostly use Cinema for 3D, but that effect could have come from another system.

Anyone else have experience with this? Seems like it must be a common issue with so many cameras shooting in RAW, these days.

    Thanks.

But I have no idea where the camera raw plug even lives, in the AE folder. I don’t immediately see anything like that in the “format” folder in the “plugin” folder. So, with either version of the ACR plug, would I need to add that to the AE folder?

    Cheers.

Many people on the Cow ask about making video walls with mograph. I think you need to use multishader.
