    Hi marcemoyano,

    if you use cinema 4d then there is a great plugin, called Path deformer.
    There is also a Free Version with some limits available, called Path deformer light.

    when using only after effects then i would do it with the text tool on a curve, and adding some heavy transforming tools,
    but there are limits because after-effects has no real 3d-space, expecially the z-depth rotation around a person like in the movies you mentioned.

    ok, thanks, i finally got it.

    i did it with cinema 4d.
    first create a spline line, and a square.
    then include this in a sweep-nurbs and animate the grow-rate-factor.
    thats it.
