Hey, this is an old thread it seems, but I just had the same prob so I figured I’d register. I don’t know what caused the initial problem on my end either, but if your prob is the same I had, it’s a really simple fix.

First start a new sequence with whatever settings you want (easiest way to do that is drag a clip with the correct settings into a brand new sequence, and FCP will ask you if you want to change the sequence to match those settings)

Then go to your already cut sequence, copy everything and paste it into the new sequence.

Then just select all in your new sequence and go to Modify > Conform to Sequence. All your clips will match the new sequence settings (which should be the same as the majority if not all of your clips because that’s the reason you wanted a new sequence in the first place, correct?)
