i had exactly her problem…Architect studio 4 was giving Render Failure problems on import with wmv files (all of a sudden) and suggested that I do a MPEG3 with separate AC audio. This worked great on rerenders of problem videos. Then i did another one. and it imports ONLY the video. just on one of the videos, not on the previous ones I did. Looking for a way to manually import the audio track to the Architect Studio 5 program.

The seemingly random problems are what drive me nuts with this. Suddenly a problem appears for no reason, like not having the remote buttons work…, when they did on same file the other day. argh. Will rerender the video again and see if it will work…this sort of thing holds up the whole project.

Anyway, from what I read in many forums, the two renders of MPEG2 and the AC audio are the way to go…

had this problem. An new to Indesign Pen tool…after all these years of avoiding it, and was drawing simple map for driving directions. Then it would not work AT ALL…for new lines. I could however select and continue to work on the existing line… modify it. But could not add to it outside the existing line.

Pressing P got it to work again…quick test and drew a rough shape.. Whew. Yep Now I can complete the shape…filled it with color. Whew.

I was ready to reload the program. Toggling P does not seem to DE activate the Pen tool. Any idea how this got deactivated in the first place?? Being up near the – = keys imagined I hit P by mistake, but ???

hi, thank you for responding.
I would not think End actions would either have an effect, but I was trying to eliminate all possible causes of this problem.

The menu has three separate videos, with loop End actions for each video. I tried with differnet end action, like return to menu.

The problem is that the Preview remote control when viewing the main menu does not click to chose the videos. I get a “not function” sign, circle with line through it.

I can select the videos while using computer using mouse, but the remote on the preview does not move <> … and it does not work in real tv with physical remote.

Why remote buttons worked on previous build of this video and not now … I have no idea.

Did you read how large they were…the avi files were one GIG per SECOND
the .mov files were one GIG per minute.
