HUGE renders for small videos…like gigs per min Movie studio platinum 9
For some reason I wanted to change settings for my YouTube uploads on Movie Studio 9 HD.
on an avi rendering, I had only about six seconds of video render, tried it twice, with one GIG PER SECOND file size..and it looked awful. I got warning that the D drive was full.. thinking that was the problem why the video stopped the render, I aborted the render and moved many folders to another drive…making almost no free space. Then discovered these two small length clips at 6 gigs each!!
I tried to do a .mov render, and it was about one gig per minute of video…and though it LOOKED like it was rendering the video as it processed…when it got through, it played only the audio track. And the three minute video .mov file was three GIGS long. The base file was about a thirty meg file.
I cannot even imagine the mechanism where this would happen…
any ideas? I was able to get a halfway decent mp4, but it was not as sharp as the one I originally downloaded from YouTube.
