I understand, but thats an “after the fact” tool. I want to be able to collect as I import. Not after. Because lets say I have 1 element already in the project folder thats 2GB, then I import something thats on my stock footage drive without first copying it to my project folder, then I collect now I have 2 copies of the 2GB file plus the stock footage, Id like to be able to just import the Stockfootage and have it “collect” when I import.

and I just checked, and if you put it in the sampling section it asks for Source Frame and it doesn’t move from there

the thing is, it doesn’t pop when its doing a ram preview or when I’m just moving frame by frame in the comp, but once I render it pops in and out terribly.

Yes, Ive checked that. It samples from just one frame right? or does it actually sample from a variety of frames? Its a Keyed out person so the only place I have to sample from is his shirt. He moves quite a bit. But I thought the noise sampling was just done from one frame.
