So you think a 30 FPS timeline would still look good then with the 30 FPS and 60 FPS footage? I do really like the look of 30FPS footage interpreted to 24FPS, but maybe my best bet in terms of a compromise is a 30 FPS timeline.

I realize this site is largely for professionals and those who make a living or a partial living doing this type of work…I don’t fit that bill.

Revisiting this thread…I had over 300+ clips (between 5-15 seconds) – transcoded to Cineform it was ~600GB. This just isn’t practical. If every Premiere Project I have is 600GB, there is no way I can store that much data long term. So in this case I just don’t see any other way of doing it other than using proxies.

Thanks a lot for the reply. What HDDs would you go with? Do you use some sort of bay to house them in? Obviously need some sort of way to hook them up via USB 3.0 or 3.1.
