There is a decent selection within Garageband, or it’s possible to combine one or two to create something suitable for your needs – which is what I tend to do.

I’m not though – I’m merely trying to put a previously created sequence into a ‘fresh’ sequence.
That’s what seems so strange about the error message

We call them (rightly or wrongly) ‘stings’.
There are some quite useful ones in Apple loops in programs such as Garageband.
Failing that, GB is a really useful (but very simple) way of creating some.

Thanks for that – much appreciated.
When I do as you suggested, it tells me that ‘sequences may not be added to sequences recursively’
I don’t understand how that even makes sense?

Any suggestions?
