AHHH Now I see what you mean. I for some reason didn’t notice that earlier. So Black in Digital is 0 and not -3?

All the PLUGE colors are reading -3 though. Not one is showing 0

The reason I was asking was because someone told me that with Digital black is -3 not 0. The color bar generator in Premiere Pro shows that Black is -3 when 7.5 IRE is unchecked.

Okay. What if I’m making a project for YouTube DVD and TV? Do I have to then get a broadcast monitor for TV airing or can a studio do it for me? I have basic equipment.

under more info I see this “13-inch, Mid 2010” I talked to a local Apple Retailer, Small Dog Electronics and the guy I spoke with seemed to think I could put 16 Gigs of ram in my laptop. How would I even use multiple firewire drives? I only have one firewire port on my laptop.

I checked the USB info and it says I have only one usb2 and that’s a recording interface for Pro Tools all my externals are USB
