FYI i’m working with dvx 4:3 letterbox footage in a premier pro 2 NTSC standard 4:3 project…
The footage appears fine when rendered in the project and viewed but after export these problems appear. -

I’m having the same problem with transitions reverting between aspect ratios after being rendered to AVI.
The posts referred to above seems to no longer exist, can anyone offer additional advice? -
I copied the clips and audio and pasted them in a new PP2 project, but was discouraged when none of the transitions transferred and the first render attempt came up with the same backend error. Not to worry, if at first you don’t succeed, try again. This time no problems, rendered and ready for export. I’ve gone back and added some transitions, and you’d never know the difference…
