    Ken,
The european version of the camera the HPX2100 has a split filter wheel. I have wanted to do the same upgrade on my 2000 I think it would be a question of ordering the parts and installing but you might check with Panasonic. Steve Cooperman is the product manager in the US

By any chance is your monitor hooked up via VGA at a resolution of 1920×1200. When I hooked up my monitor via DVI, the problem disappeared. I am working with apple on this and am going to run a test on the VGA hookup at lower resolution and see if that corrects it.

I don’t know why the 2000 comes that way because it’s sister european camera the 2100 has the same dual filter setup as the 900.
    Optical Filters: CC: Cross, 3200K, 4300K, 6300K
    ND: CLEAR, 1/4ND, 1/16ND, 1/64ND

I wonder if you could order the dual filter wheel from parts and retrofit the camera. I will look into it.

This is the link to the brochure https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/sales_o/p2/hdp2cam_2100/AJ-HPX2100E.pdf

Send me your email and I will send you some. I usually use a 900 as a second camera and I have manually entered the scene files into the 2000.

The Firestore since V3 software will strip the extra frames as long as you set the Firestore and camera timecode properly.
    Thanks

The 2100 has a two stage filter wheel like the HDX900. The 2000 has only a one stage filter wheel.

    Steve,
Have you used this, and does it work. I could not find the PCMCIA adapter on the Wiebetech website.
    Thanks

I had this problem with a brand new 16gig card. In looking at the footage on the camera the thumbnail was there but the footage played back snow. I tried repair clip with P2Log Pro but it could not fix the problem. I reformatted the card and have not had a problem since.
