Mmhh your right, it only has RAID 0+1 (that is the Safe+Fast option probably) but you will loose 50% of your drive size… Backup to FW drives is probably the cheapest option, do you have any backup utilities you use for that or do you just manually copy everything?
BTW: Are there any other drives you recommend beside the LaCie Biggest S2S?

[Jerry Hofmann] “I think you need to get your slip tool under control and slip the clips after you collapse the multiclip. one by one… Holding down the cmd key will make this easier if it’s only a frame or two…

Mmmhh that kinda sucks there are more then a thousand edits, and I cant start to do it until the final edit is approved (cause if you need to make a change in camera angles its async again). But if that is the only way it has to be done…

[Jerry Hofmann] “Next time, check the sync before you edit? I’ve seen “slaved” cameras really not be in sync before, and it’s a must to really check the sync before you spend any time editing I’m afraid.

I did check it before and it seemed ok then, guess I didn’t look close enough 🙁
