  • I made a motion graphic of 7 seconds in AE cs4.The quicktime movie output size was 1.07 GB. I used adobe media encoder to encode video in flv format(same as source) and it resulted the output size just 2.3 MB. But it looses some quality. I often use AVI with Xvid compression. Its a great compressor.I doesnot loose much quality.Xvid codec is automatically installed if you have installed Media player classic in your pc.

April 6, 2010 at 7:54 am in reply to: After Effects Rendering Glitch?

    Hello sir,
I am a student of multimedia in India.
I probably use raw footage(avi-mpeg2) in after effects cs3 and i have also faced this glitching problem. But i have not any problem with quicktime movies.
so i want to know which formats are good to import in after effects?

Well, i used to render my output in avi(xvid mpeg4) format and i found that this is highly compressed and good quality format.
Is this compression good for output for general purpose?

This red colored X lines appears when a valid serial number and username for this plug-in were not given. so, if you have a registration
, enter serial number and user name.
    You should try this:-
    1. create a solid layer and apply trapcode particular to it.
    2. In effect control window,on the top, click on “option” link and when a dialog window opens complete your registration online or enter serial number and user name if you have.
