    My experience has been that error code is generated by bad media- and I agree that you should try -r discs. I’ve never had consistent playback across multiple players and devices with +R.

    I’ve had a dead pixel on my JVC for a long time but since I only used it once in a while, I let it go on for far far too long. This post fixed it in less than 3 minutes. COW rocks.
