I guess the only reason I wanted to join them was so that I only had to apply filters once instead of twice in Soundtrack. The Audio from each mic sounded pretty good, but it sounded great when they are played together. Maybe I’ll just take the Lav audio and kill the boom.

yeah, I knew that. I just had so much footage inside the nest that it’s kind of a pain to go and locate each small section that needs to be tweaked. but thanks for the input!!!

Yeah, I thought of that, but I only want to send one channel that has both streams of audio. I have a duplicate project saved with the audio in it’s original form.

yeah. I guess I was a bit unclear. I was under the impression that as long as you were in the image safe area, everything but text would be safe from being cut off. thanks for the quick explaination.

Thank you for the insult, but I do understand what safe areas are for.

I am going to television, therefore, safe areas do matter. Because the text I am using isn’t in text form, I am wondering if I can go a little outside of the text safe area and still be okay.

yeah, you can upgrade from 3.0, but it is like $700. A little pricey, but not as bad as paying full price…

I wouldn’t even record it on to a tape. Most decks will do a real-time conversion. Just patch the deck to your computer and use “capture now” with device control disabled.

oh, I forgot to mention that. I am watching on a Sony HR 14″ Trinitron Monitor. It’s a good one…. 🙂
Yeah, my render settings are set to Full. I have never had this problem before. I may try the old “trash preferences” trick…
