    Hi Grant:

I’m thinking of the Zacuto Recoil V2 or the Manfrotto Sympla. But I am trying to figure out a way to try each before purchasing.

    Hi Larry:
Could you please send a picture? Would the rotolight arm attach in such a way that I could still have a boom mic and lav receiver on the camera?
    Thx,
    Brian

    Hi Erik:
I’m just about to buy a Canon C100, and your video about the Atomos Ninja 2 is a great help. I’m going to be shooting a documentary in a women’s prison. Because of access issues, I will be a one man band. I’ll have the lav receiver and a boom on the camera. How can I also attach the Ninja 2 in such a way that I can move easily and shoot “run and gun” style?

    Thanks!

You were right! I was using an older OS system that didn’t have “Adjust Size” on its tool menu.
    Thanks!

Thanks so much, Andre. When I go into Preview and pull down the tools menu, “Adjust Size” isn’t an option. I tried searching the Preview help for “Adjust size” but nothing meaningful came up. Can you please tell me how to find the “Adjust Size” option?

    I really appreciate your help.

  • Hi Tom:

Thanks for your reply. I should have been more clear. I will be on the road shooting, away from my desktop edit system. I’m hiring a camera person who will be shooting with one of the new cameras that uses cards rather than tape. How do I get the footage? If I bring a firewire drive or two with me, is there a way to get the footage on the drives so that I can take them home and then edit on fcp 6.0.6?

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Thanks, Aanarav. I’m surprised about not pursuing broadcast and film festivals simultaneously. I thought being selected for festivals might be a way to attract broadcasters. Thanks for your advice.

  • Hi:

I recommend Pyramid Media for distribution to educational markets. They distribute my 30 minute documentary “Kicking” and I am very happy with their work.

    Good luck.
