We found the RT settings were in Dynamic which seems to have caused the problems. We changed settings to Unlimited RT with Playback VideoQuality = High and Playback Frame Rates = Full fixed the problems. Just the opposite of the settings for FCP 6.x. Thanks for your help Shane!

We are fiber connected. FYI last week using G5’s and FCP 6.0.2 it worked perfectly. I just created a multiclip using 4 streams of SD [DVCPro SD 525] and it worked perfectly.

Shane we have a San for storage and the codec’s are DVCProHD720.

Thank you for the info about FCP Manager. We have engeneering looking into the product. At Fox we are running 6.02 and 10.4.10.
