nope, the R14 maybe not working isn’t it. I just opened it up in R14 and Spline2D and Displace works there too.

If I change your hair to be Spline2D I get displacement – not that I like the motion and I don’t have the time right now to find good settings. If you still don’t get movement I can only suspect there has been a fix in the Displacement channel between R14 and R17.

the button for attachments is the one on the far right (4 right of ‘CODE’) once you upload a file it gives you a link you have to copy/paste back into your message

if you are trying to use a single HNurb you should really be using one object (all 3 of the parts should be one continuous shell). If they are we’d probably have to see the scene file.

we’re not seeing enough since we can’t see if each letter is it’s own spline or whole words but either way it’s probably easier to use a Plain effector with a linear falloff instead and animate that through the text.

what kind of reference imagery are you working towards (if any)…. Greyscalegorilla has a gummy bear tutorial which might be part way there but it helps to know what you are working towards to tell if it’s appropriate. Jello is largely a liquid/glass/plastic type texture in the way it looks it’s the movement that lets you know it’s jello.
