John, do you know if it’s possible to edit ProRes 422 HQ IN STANDARD DEFINITION in Final Cut Express 4? I am about to get the file on hard disk back from Colorlab (MD) of a 16mm 4:3 B/W short film. If I go ahead and render the entire clip (about 17 minutes) will I still keep all of the frames, or will there be compression, and hence, “dropped” frames?

I need to edit for a film match-back from video. Does Final Cut Express output an EDL: CMX 3600?

I know this is a lot of technical stuff, but if you happen to know anything about these questions I would appreciate it.
