I have the same or similar problem – only some of the behaviours show in the inspector. They are in the correct place on the system drive. How do I reconnect?????
    Help!

Just want to thank everyone who has responded to my original post. I’ve really got some good stuff here to move forward with – better lighting – I’ll read that book that Michael recommends, a broadcast monitor connected to the camera on the shoot and of course back in the edit suite. These things will help immediately. Then perhaps a short course in lighting techniques. Short courses and forums like this are really assisting my need to progress. Hats off to you all.

I’ve got a bit of work that I’m having trouble with – I think it will probably illustrate what you guys are getting at.
Thing is – how do I post it here and in what format?

Thanks for that. The titles done in Boris on FCP seem to come out very well, rendering 10 bit uncompressed. Photoshopped graphics don’t fare all that well, I’m bringing them into FCP as psd, although recently I’ve been trying them as png files. But whether to deinterlace or not—-I don’t know! It’s the footage that seems to suffer the most.

Great post, thankyou. You’re quite on the money, I am fighting the light in alot of my stuff. Some scenes turn out great, others are complete rubbish. A bit hit and miss really. It’s a good place for me to start.
    Thanks for that.

Hurrah!! Thanks Roddy. Hopefully this means that I’m cool to install a decklink 2 card to hook up my monitor. I’ve been playing with the Joe’s Filters demo, having the BM will make all the difference.
    Thanks again.
