Can also open up the audio from first clip and drag out the audio under all the others as an L cut.

You’re right about having to click not hover.
But I can’t get it to switch to the viewer repeating your process. Only if I click in the viewer or press cmd+3.
Even with the cmd removed from the -/+ keys.
FWIW this seems like a very slow way to zoom into an area. I prefer to first cmd+z (if the area to zoom to isn’t visible), then press z and lasso the area to zoom into. Goes right where I want it very quickly.

Yep. After the first one, it’s just cmd E, enter enter. Cmd E, enter enter. However I have done some 40+ exports where it’s a pain. But for 5 or so not a problem.

Zooms wherever your mouse is hanging over. Is that the problem? I for one am very grateful there’s just one command to zoom in all places. There are keyboard shortcuts to select a focus area if you don’t want to use the mouse.

How does flame compare to AE, Fusion, Motion, etc? Back in the 90s I used to see things from a flame session that cost thousands that we could have easily done in AE. I’m sure Flame equates more with Fusion/Nuke but I guess it wasn’t always being used to its potential?

You are mistaken. It was always (stupidly) this way.

To match audio with one angle, you use a synchronized clip. Those should be able to be used in auditions.

A little short sighted. I can see using this in all sorts of situations. Basically ANYWHERE you would normally have a freeze frame. Freeze, focus on a movement for a corporate or training video, or put bullets across with a more interesting freeze, then resume action. And it’s not like this was ever a particularly hard effect to create, but now it’s automated and more accessible (to the FCP X crowd that is).

My original Pegasus R4 had tons of connectivity problem within it’s first year and they simply sent me a housing after they couldn’t diagnose the issue. They sent the new one and a box for me to mail back the old one and any connectivity issues have been few and far between since.
