How do I scale a clip to a specific size? Because the smaller clips are scaling fine but the big clips scale w/ the black bars.

Well, the “bad” clips are actually bigger than the “good” clips. Bad=1280×800; Good=1064×800. The problem seems to be in the scaling. When I unclick “Scale to frame size”, it takes the middle section of the clip as normal, but when I re-check the “scale” option, it cuts it way down and adds the all-around black bars.

How do you get the VOB files into Elements? I tried doing so and it gave me an error message about unsupported file or something. Did you decrypt it first?
