  • I’m working in 8 Bit. I’ve found that while I still get the red render bar for everything, Pro Res 422 is a pretty speedy option when it comes to render times.

  • Oh, I have their requirements in detail. It’s just that I can’t put stills into my timeline without having to render them each time. That’s the real issue for me. It’s dramatically slowing down my workflow if I have to render for every move I make. Is there some way for me to set up my project so that I’m working “offline” in a cruddy resolution that doesn’t have to render out the stills each time, and then do an internal “conform” by switching my settings once I have a locked picture and just render the whole thing?

    Thanks!

  • Well, actually the playback device will be a computer (PC I believe). I’m only delivering a file on DVD, not burning it for DVD playback.
