I am using mpeg 2 to export my video. I could use any type of codec from qt to wmv but Watchout would prefer mpeg 2. Also I forgot to mention that the graphic is an illustrator file originally. I converted it to a rasterized file and was trying to use Premiere to scale the graphic originally. I have to make sure the squares start out being 2’x2’in size when projected then shrink down over time. So I made them 128 pixels x 128 pixels for my pixels per foot ratio to make them 2’x2′.

Thanks Edward. I thought I could figure out how to export the gradient map from Illustrator and import it into ProAnimator, but I couldn’t figure it out. Could you give me a quick lesson on how to do that.
    Thanks,
    Brent

    Edward,
Thanks for the response. I have a question about the gradient texture map. Is that something I create in Illustrator and import into ProAnimator or do I have to create it in ProAnimator alone?
    Thanks,
    Brent

  • Edward,
Thanks for the quick response. I will go that a go and hopefully that will work.
    Thanks again,
    Brent

I am having the same problem that you are having. I want to digitize beta footage 8 bit uncompressed into fcp. Every time I try it tells me that it droped a frame. I can use the dv sequence setting and it works fine. But when I use the cumstom setting with uncompressed video it won’t capture. I have read that it could be that one firewire bus can not handle that kind of uncompressed video. They suggested that I should buy another firewire pci card. Does this make sense to anyone?
