I agree that the preferences from Avid FX plugin should be saved from session to session. Can you tell me what OS are you on?

Yes, it’s coming. It’s a complex effect and takes a bit of time and a close integration with Sony Vegas host.

    Please try FxPlug 7.02 here

    https://www.borisfx.com/downloads/

it’s the same installer as a trial version. It will respect the license already present on your machine.

Try the same workflow in FCE as described for FCP. The two programs should be close enough in handling different size clips.

Make sure that you are picking a BCC Swish Pan transition from Transitions category. Drag it over the cut. It should automatically pick up outgoing and incoming clips. The most recent version of BCC FxPlug is 7.02. To check the version get info on BCC FxPlug file in Library/Plugins/BorisFX

  • Yes, the trick to enable the Generate Thumbnail button is to click on the Library Browser window to bring it forward and then hit “u” on the keyboard (for un-generate). The button will become enabled and you can rebuild thumbnails again. This started as a testing aid and never got documented for customers but now I see that it could be a useful feature. Hope this works for you.

thanks for pointing to a dead link on our site, we’ll be fixing it shortly. We suspect it’s a side effect of a recent site reconstruction.

December 24, 2010 at 12:09 pm in reply to: Any recommended video cards for BCC7 Sony Vegas 10

If you are buying a new video card today, any new nVidia or ATI card will do. We recommend at least 512 Meg video memory if yo plan to do HD. 1 gig is better. You can survive on 256 meg if you do SD.

December 24, 2010 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Feature request for BCC7 / Sony Vegas 10

We plan to make this change but not until the next major BCC release. What you are describing is a side effect of our previous OGL architecture. The change is planned for a future update. Thanks for mentioning it. I just want to point out that this affects 3 filters only from the entire 200 filter set.
