    Hi Popflier
Since posting, I have figured out a solution which DOES work thank God although a little drastic!

Since I found out the DVD Architect problem during some initial testing, I was able to abort and go over the DVD Studio Pro 3 which does burn dual layer DVD+R Verbatims perfectly. You can take all of your files including subtitles out of DVD Architect and they’ll go into DVDSP although MPEGs need to be elementary stream. I also found that the DVD Studio Pro subtitle output from DVD Architect does need simple adjustments to go into DVDSP or else you get an error message.

One point of use of DVD Architect is when it tells you where to put the layer break in your movie. This was extremely useful as DVDSP doesn’t have the same feature as far as I can see.

One funny glitch was burning discs from DVDSP is that when you burn a project, it sometimes gives an error at lead-in writing. All you have to do is browse to find the project folder (even if its already there by default) and select it again, and then it works. Strange!

    Cheers

Thanks for that. I tried already and the disc doesn’t work properly. Chunks of the film go missing and chapters get messed up. Nothing to do with the programming in the application. DVD buttons don’t work as they should either.
