So many people encountered this problem. DVD use MPEG-2 codec, rather than ProRes. So u should convert ProRes to MPEG-2. But only a software I know called Foxreal Video Converter for Mac from Man.com supports ProRes. It can convert ProRes to MPEG-2 for DVD. U can use the trial version to solve this problem.

I just tried this software called Foxreal Video Converter for Mac which recommended macnn (https://www.macnn.com/articles/10/12/31/converter.works.with.hdv.avi.mkv.tivo.more/), it can convert ProRes 422 video to many popular videos. I think u can try it to convert ProRes 422 to Premiere CS5. Hopefully it can help u.

I don’t know whether u can see this information. I finally find a mac video converter called Foxreal Video converter for Mac can solve this problem easily. This is the first software i encountered supports ProRes 422 decode.
U can import into your ProRes 422 videos and convert to FLV. I tried it, and found it has advanced audio and video sync technology.
U can try it. Hopefully it can help u.

Why not use FCP 7 to edit your video. Yesterday, i read a news about apple prores 422 from macnn.com. They recommended a powerful software called foxreal video converter for Mac. Which can Convert videos to Apple ProRes 422 for FCP 7 easily. You can try it.
