  • Hi Neil, Thank you a lot. How about Pro Res 422 Lite? Thank you, Bob

  • Thank you Todd, Neil & Shane, Sorry for the delay. I was on a camera gig today, Sony D55. Just to let you know, I am a cameraman(about 20 years) and do some offline editing about every 3 or 4 months. In the past, I have imported Panny HV200, Z5 or 7u and 5DMk II files into FCP 7.0.3 without problems.
But I am far from a professional editor and don’t claim to be. If you have time to give me some pointers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Bob

Thank you, Jerry. I think that you just awakened me to my simple mistake. I didn’t select the audio tracks before “unchecking stereo pair”. I just unchecked stereo pair thinking that it would automatically unlink the tracks. I shoot mostly and edit only every couple of months and forgot the simple rou Bobtine. Thank you for “waking me up”!

Thank you Jeff, I was looking into buying the Nikon D800, but I have read that it has major problems with moire. The Canon 5DMk III supposedly
does not have suffer badly from moire. If this plugin would handle the type of moire that the D800 exhibits, then I would still strongly consider the D800. Thank you, Bob Paul

Thank you David for explaining it to me. The graphics look very good
on a DVD. I am getting ready to use a SONY Z7U on a project this week. I think that the Z7’s files are imported into FCP as an M2T files. Should I convert these files to Pro Res too? Thank you, Bob

Thank you Zane, Yes I am working in the DV codec since it was shot with a DV camera. Is it possible to change the DV codec to make the PPT slides look better? Thank you.

I resized the PPT slides in PS 3 to a resolution of 300 and sharpened them and they are still soft in the timeline.

Thank you, Tom. I looked for a luminance adjustment, but I couldn’t find it until your message directed me to the color corrector, Bob
