I don’t, but I’m missing the 1st part of a clip that is. A friend found this in the FCP manual.
Important: To ingest (or reingest) a spanned clip as a single media file, it is recommended that you mount all of the P2 volumes necessary for the clip. Mounting separate P2 volumes at different times may cause Final Cut Pro to transfer only portions of a P2 clip.

It doesn’t. I’m reasonably familiar, if you’re asking if I know what spanned is. That said, I’m always up for any helpful info on anything P2 related.

Yes. I have the second half of the spanned clip working fine.

I did. Like I said, three of four clips worked fine

I guess I have nothing to lose. BTW, there was no apparent interruption when I recorded the suspect file.

I have the card but the files were deleted. (They are what I copied to my hard drive.) Do you think it’s worth copying them back onto the P2 card and trying a repair?
