Thanks Fisch, everything is working just the way you say- my problem seems to be with either mu computer or something. I closed prem pro down and then reopened it and the files were there now (as offline) Before I closed PP they weren’t there and I couldn’t click on “Batch Capture) it was grayed in the menu. After closing and re-opening P/Pro all the offline files were there and “Batch Capture” was not Grayed anymore and it did it’s rewind and captured the files and converted them form offling to captured ready to edit.
I’m not sure why I had to close P/Pro to accomplish this any ideas? I have 1 GIG of RAM and a reasonably fast computer an Athlon AMD 64 2800+ and a Nvdia GeForce6600 AGP video card 256mem
