Not properly. The APS will work as it would with a standard LCD, creating a profile on your computer, but that doesn’t cut it for us.

    Hi Nathan.

I’ve got a little update for you. I called my local HP dealer who took my monitor in for testing. They were able to replicate and analyze the problem and the monitor was replaced. They tested the new one, I took it back to work and lo and behold – same friggin’ problem.

I’ve tried running the APS on a Mac and a Windows machine, hooked up from DVI and HDMI (on a Windows laptop). The only known bug is calibration through the Display Port, which is not currently supported. I’ll get back to you when I get further.

    Cheers,
    Bjarki

Hi – I answered that a little earlier:

“Sorry. That comes up. But after I select the DreamColor in the APS, it tells me to connect the USB which is already connected.”

The APS recognizes the DreamColor for what it is – it doesn’t require any other monitor to be connected via USB.

    Thanks again!

    B.

Yes, that’s the one I’m using. Pretty frustrating. I’ve been googling the issue and can’t seem to find anyone else having this issue. I’m guessing it’s the monitor.

No, it always claims the USB is not connected.

I did. It’s all set up correctly. I’m thinking it’s a monitor defect.

If you go to the Image menu and the Mode submenu, make sure the images are RGB and 8 bit. FCP won’t play nice with images that are 16 or 32 bit.

Same thing I thought! I’d have to get a camera in my suite to have a real record of this. I just updated my Kona drivers. Funny thing is it doesn’t happen over HDMI from the LHi, so I’m guessing it’s being caused by the HDP2.

Let me know if you get a response, I’ll check on support myself, too.
