You can author your DVD and work in DVDSP on the G5 … and then send the project through the MacMini without tying up the G5 ? And wile the DVD’s are burning you can continue to work on the G5 ?

Just a thought . Have you added RAM recently …. I had similiar problems over a year ago, but it was a bad RAM chip …..
