I’ve now stumbled across this error as well.

I’m trying to output via h.264 with square pixels, at 873×480.

I tried the trick posted earlier in this thread of making it a factor of 16, and stretching it to 880×480, but all that did was make it give me the error at the end of the render rather than the beginning (and still no output).

Ok, I was being silly here.

It was only appearing as transparent in my video editing software for a second because I was fading it in, so it would appear the problem is that it’s actually not showing up as transparent at all.

Is there anything I need to do to make the background transparent besides just setting the output channel to RGB+Alpha when rendering?
